The Carrera re-edition CS3110 faithfully replicates the iconic design of the early Carrera ref. 2447D from 1965, renowned for its blue outer decimal track. Released just before TAG Heuer was acquired by LVMH, this re-edition marks a significant moment in the brand's embracing of its historical designs in the 1990s. With a polished 36mm case, Carrera lugs, and vintage-style pump pushers, it closely resembles its 1960s predecessor. Notably, it features tritium lume on the hands and hour markers, which will develop a charming patina over time, making it a highly authentic homage to the original. Launched alongside the Porsche 911 in 1963, the Heuer Carrera, conceptualized by Jack Heuer, quickly became a cornerstone for the brand, mirroring the 911's significance. Named after the perilous Carrera Panamericana race of the 1950s, its debut model, the 2447, prioritized legibility for motorsport professionals.
