About the watch
In Rolex's long and rich history, few models can lay claim to such renown as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the model has seen many variations and combinations of cases, bracelets and dials. Reference 16014 saw the introduction of the quick date setting, which adds simplicity of use without compromising the vintage look of the piece. This particular piece, with its silver linen dial, fluted white gold bezel and jubilee bracelet, remains probably one of the most sought-after version, thanks in no small part to its originality. The fascinating dial varies from metallic silver to a slight champagne colour depending on the light, giving it a lively, dynamic appearance on the wrist. The linen pattern also add to the complexity of the watch, making it a standalone version of the reference 16014. The indexes and hands are in tritium, the latter having gained an appealing orange patina, which makes the piece all the more beautiful and warm. The overall condition of the watch is great, with plenty of material left on the case and sharp corners. The watch is fully original, meaning that it has retained all its original parts. It is the perfect starting point for a collection and a must-have for any serious watch enthusiast.

The case has a lot of material and sharp edges.
