About the watch

The Omega Speedmaster needs no introduction as it is widely considered one of the most famous and highly-regarded watch models across the globe. Omega has done an excellent job of showcasing the Speedmaster's connection to space expeditions and history, and we won't attempt to match their expertise. However, we can confidently say that the 145.022 model seamlessly blends vintage aesthetics with modern technologies and durability, keeping its iconic "moonwatch" vibe alive.     This specific Speedmaster is in a stunning overall condition, having kept a very sharp case and bracelet. The watch's indexes and hands sport a beautiful yellow tritium patina that seamlessly contrasts with the black matt dial. Despite its seemingly large size, the watch wears like a 39mm due to its perfect proportions. The Speedmaster is one of the greatest daily watches, thanks to its insane robustness. This watch is mounted on its original bracelet, reference 1450 with 808 solid endlinks. This bracelet is often called the "president" from omega and is one of the most sought after and prefered one amongst omega collectors, it ads a great deal of charm to this piece.   This watch is part of the so called "Apollo XI" unnumbered edition made for the 20th anniversary of the moon landings. Cherry on the cake, it comes with its original full set which is very hard to find nowadays, especially with the wooden box and the NASA patch.

The watch is in fully original condition, having been very well preserved by its previous owner. The case is amazingly sharp. The bracelet is the original one, reference 1450 and has no stretch.

The watch is sold with it's original accessories, box and warranty card dated from 1989.

The movement is the original caliber 861.
