about the watch
The 235T is what comes to our mind when we think about a 1960's chronograph : three sub dials, valjoux 72 movement, screw down caseback, blued hands. And with its 36mm, the case sits perfectly on the wrist.
This particular piece has been kept in very good condition over time. The dial turned to a rich cream colour and both the index numbers and hands gained a beautiful orange tritium patina. The case has retained great angles and dimensions, with no deep marks, only a few barely visible micro-scratches from handling, and again, we are talking about a watch that is over 60 years old!
This watch is both a perfect first step into vintage chronographs for a beginner and also a prized addition for any serious collector.
The case is in amazing condition. It was very well taken care of over the years, and has kept great case dimensions and angles. There are no major bumps or scratches, but of course due to its age it has some visible micro scratches.
The watch is sold without original box or papers.
The movement has been serviced by our watchmakers.
