Universal Geneve
Compax 284.465
The Universal Genève Compax is the last true heir to the brand's 1960s chronographs. This example, a gold and steel version, has been beautifully preserved and still has all its original parts as well as two original straps, one in leather and the other in steel.

about the watch
The Compax was Universal Genève's final chronograph model in the 1980s. Shortly afterwards, in 1989, the brand was bought by Janus, a Hong Kong brand, but in 2023 it will be revived by Breitling.
This particular piece has been kept in exceptional condition over time. The dial is immaculate, as are the hands and case. The case has retained its superb angles and dimensions, with no deep marks, only a few barely visible micro-scratches from handling, and again, we are talking about a watch that is over 30 years old! The gold and steel bracelet is the original bracelet, and a second leather strap adorned with its original buckle is included with the watch.
The watch is in amazing condition. It was very well taken care of over the years, and has kept great case dimensions and angles, just as when it left the factory. There are no major bumps or scratches, but of course due to its age it has some visible micro scratches.
The watch is sold with its original box and one additional leather strap from UG with original buckle.
The movement has been serviced in 2025.
