about the watch

The Speedmaster needs no further introduction, being widely regarded as one of the world's most famous and beloved model lines. Omega has done an excellent job of highlighting the Speedmaster's link with space expeditions and history, and we won't try to match their expertise.
However, we can add that the 145.022-71 reference is an interesting one historically speaking, as it is the last Speedmaster to bear the famous "step dial". This makes it the last Speedmaster to carry the DNA of the original model, especially when mounted on its "flat link" bracelet, reference 1039, as in this case.
This specific piece is entirely original and in excellent condition, both the case and the bracelet, which have retained plenty of material and sharp angles. The watch's indexes and hands have a charming patina that contrasts well with the matte black of the dial. Cherry on the cake, the watch was serviced in June 2024, so it's ready to be worn for years to come. The Speedmaster is an enduring classic that will always have a special appeal for collectors and lovers of fine timepieces.

The watch is in amazing condition, having been very well preserved by its previous owner.

The bracelet is the original one, reference 1039, and has no stretch.

The watch is sold without box nor papers. We provide a Veritas travelling pouch.

The movement is the original caliber 861, which runs well as it was serviced in June 2024.
