about the watch

The Royal Oak Day Date Moon Phase is the ultimate mid-size Royal Oak and a testimony of the versatility and usability of Audemars Piguet's products. Although the Royal Oak is mostly liked with dark dials, especially blue, the reference 25594ST is the exception that shows a white dial can perfectly fit a Royal Oak. Beautifully contrasting with the moon phase, the dial is immaculate and does not show any signs of patina, being perfectly white. On top of that, the watch also showcases two aesthetic subdials which bring balance to the dial design and utility to the watch. What makes this watch even more interesting, is that the 25594 is the only Royal Oak with a moon phase besides perpetual calendar, which are in a totally different price range. This spectacular example, a mk2 dial, kept all original parts, including the hands and no logo crown, which is very rare on these pieces!
The case and bracelet have kept a lot of material and are still very sharp. Often overlooked, the 36mm case is the perfect compromise for most people, as it better sits on the wrist than a jumbo (39mm) or 41mm. Cherry on the cake, the watch comes with its original box and papers, which indicate that the piece was first sold in 1998 in California. We are proud to put up for sale this true collector's piece!

The case and bracelet have a lot of material, which is a good sign that the watch has probably been lightly refreshed (no heavy polishing) only once in its life.

The watch is sold with its original box and papers, which attest that it was first sold in 1998 in California.

The movement is the original 2224/2825, which runs perfectly well. The watch is still waterproof, although we do not recommend to go in the water with it.
