about the watch
In the vast world of horology, there is no debate on one thing: the most famous, sought after and timeless dive-watch is the Rolex Submariner. The stainless steel Submariner Date is a true icon in Rolex's history, and this neo-vintage iteration is no exception. With its sleek black dial and luminova hour markers, this timepiece exudes both style and functionality. The tradition and history of the Submariner blended with the more modern technical developments and design make it one of the most sought-after 5-digits references from Rolex. It truly blends the both of both worlds.
This specific piece, sold in February 2008 in Aruba (Netherlands Antilles) is in fantastic condition and features the lively aluminum bezel. Cool feature here, the watch is the sought-after RRR engraved rehaut, named so as you can read the “Rolex” engraving on the inner bezel rehaut. This rarer iteration has been produced only from mid-2007 with the Z-serial, giving this apparently normal 16610 some extra rarity and collectability. Renowned for its versatility and durability, this watch is a true gem for any collector or enthusiast.
The watch is in amazing condition. The case, bracelet and bezel have sharp angles and a lot of material, proving how well it was taken care of. The dial is in immaculate condition.
The Oyster bracelet is in great condition and has no stretch. It is the original reference 93250 with solid endlinks.
The watch is sold with its original box, warranty card, Submariner booklet, red tag, as well as the original green wallet. Although not a full set, it is a nice and complete set.
The movement is a caliber 3135, which runs perfectly well. Although the watch is waterproof, we do not recommend going jet skiing with it…
