Designed to show the time in two different time zones simultaneously during intercontinental flights, the Rolex GMT Master is a legendary pilot’s watch known for its timeless design and historical significance. With its black dial, its famous red and blue “Pepsi” insert, stainless steel case and bracelet, this piece embodies all the iconic features of the first versions of the GMT Master. Reference 16700, produced at the same time as reference 16710, does not have the hour quickset function, but was produced in fewer pieces. This particular watch has all the characteristics of a future collector's item: a tritium dial with a beautiful patina, the famous Pepsi insert, its original box and papers, and an impeccable condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. It is a great addition and fantastic starter to any watch collection. Wearing it daily reveals why it is such an iconic model.
The case has a lot of material and sharp edges. The buckle and bracelet are in excellent condition too. The bracelet is the original one and has no stretch.
The watch comes with its original box and guarantee papers.
The movement is the original caliber 3175, which runs perfectly well. The watch is still waterproof, although we do not recommend trying to meet fishes with it...
