This Rolex GMT Master reference 16700 was sold in 1995 in Hong-Kong. The watch is in great condition, and features the famous red and blue “Pepsi” bezel insert. The GMT Master is one of the most desirable collectors' watches and the pinnacle of Rolex's tool watches.

Designed to show the time in two different time zones simultaneously during intercontinental flights, the Rolex GMT Master is a legendary pilot’s watch known for its timeless design and historical significance. With its black dial, its famous red and blue “Pepsi” insert, stainless steel case and bracelet, this piece embodies all the iconic features of the first versions of the GMT Master. The 16700 reference, produced simultaneously with the 16710 reference, does not feature quick time adjustment but quick date adjustment, and fewer examples were produced.
This particular piece, solid in 1995 in Hong-Kong, has all the characteristics of a future collector's item: an impeccable ‘tritium’ dial that isturning to a light cream color, the famous Pepsi insert, its original box and papers, and an great overall condition. In addition, the original Pepsi insert, with its elegant font, is in stunning condition. The watch is fully original and the case appears to be unpolished.

The case has a lot of material and sharp edges, it appears to be unpolished. The buckle and bracelet are in excellent condition too. The Oyster bracelet is the original one and has no significant stretch.
The watch comes with its original box and outer box, warranty, Oyster booklet and green tag.
The movement is the original caliber 3175, which has been serviced by our watchmakers.
