about the watch
In the rich and long history of Rolex, not many model lines can pride themselves in being as significant as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the Datejust has seen many variations of cases, bracelets, and dials combinations.
This specific piece features a captivating black dial that varies from black, to charcoal, to even brown depending on the light, giving it a vibrant and dynamic appearance on the wrist. This dial has the famous chapter ring layout that is seldom seen, last but not least, the printings are silver and not white, which makes it a very rare combination. The tritium on the hands and hour markers has developed a charming light patina, adding a vintage touch to the watch. These beautiful features are visible through the sapphire crystal. The steel bezel is original and very attractive, giving the watch a slightly sportier look than if it were fitted with the famous fluted white gold bezel. The Jubilee bracelet is in perfect condition and is made of steel, as are the case and bezel.
As we like to say, neo-vintage watches are often a good compromise, offering the durability and precision of a modern watch while retaining the aesthetics and charm of vintage models.
Moreover, the watch is in very good overall condition, with plenty of material left on the case and sharp angles. The watch is also delivered with its original warranty papers. This makes it the perfect first Rolex and a must-have for anyone looking to complete their collection.
The case has a lot of material and sharp edges, it appears to be entirely unpolished.
The buckle and bracelet are in great condition too. The bracelet is the original one, reference 62510H, and has no stretch.
The watch is sold with its original warranty papers. We provide a Veritas travel pouch.
The movement is the original caliber 3135, which runs well.
