about the watch
In Rolex's long and rich history, few models can lay claim to such renown as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the model has seen many variations and combinations of cases, bracelets and dials.
This particular timepiece boasts an immaculate silver dial, having acquired a beautiful beige patina that adds to the piece's charm and accentuates its vintage feel. The steel bezel is original and very aesthetic, making the piece a little sportier than if it were wearing the famous fluted white gold bezel. The Jubilee bracelet is in perfect condition and is made of steel, as are the case and bezel. The fascinating silver dial varies from dark gray to silvery white depending on the light, giving it a lively, dynamic appearance on the wrist. These beautiful features are visible through the sapphire crystal.
As we like to say, neo-vintage timepieces are often a good mix, offering the resistance and precision of a modern watch while retaining the aesthetic look and feel of the vintages.
What's more, the overall condition of the watch is very good, with still plenty of material on the case and sharp corners. This makes this timepiece a perfect Rolex first and a must-have for anyone looking to complete their collection. Cherry on the cake, the watch is sold with its original set.
The case has a lot of material and sharp edges. Proof of how well the watch was taken care of, the green caseback sticker is still well visible.
The buckle and bracelet are in great condition too. The bracelet is the original one, reference 62510H, and has no stretch.
The watch is sold with its box and outer box, original warranty papers, Oyster and Datejust booklets, and the green leather card holder.
The movement is the original caliber 3135, which runs well.
