about the watch

In Rolex's long and rich history, few models can lay claim to such renown as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the model has seen many variations and combinations of cases, bracelets and dials.

This particular timepiece boasts an immaculate grey dial, which varies from a deep charcoal to a light grey that provoke the famous "ghost" effect, where all writings seem to disappear. This versatile dial gives the watch a lively and dynamic appearance on the wrist. The steel bezel is original and very aesthetic, making the piece a little sportier than if it were wearing the famous fluted white gold bezel. The Jubilee bracelet is in perfect condition and is made of steel, as are the case and bezel.
As we like to say, neo-vintage timepieces are often a good mix, offering the resistance and precision of a modern watch while retaining the aesthetic look and feel of the vintages.

What's more, the overall condition of the watch is very good, with still plenty of material on the case and sharp corners. This makes this timepiece a perfect first Rolex and a must-have for anyone looking to complete their collection. Cherry on the cake, the watch is sold with its original box and papers, which attests of the sale in February 1990 in Interlaken, Switzerland.

The case has a lot of material and sharp edges.

The buckle and bracelet are in great condition too. The bracelet is the original one, reference 62510H, and has no stretch. The buckle has been changed during a service, but it is the only part that is not original.

The watch is sold with its box and outer box, original warranty papers, traduction of warranty and red tag.

The movement is the original caliber 3135, which runs well.
