about the watch
In the rich and long history of Rolex, not many model lines can pride themselves in being as significant as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the Datejust has seen many variations of cases, bracelets, and dials combinations, but this specific piece, the silver dial and jubilee bracelet, probably remains one of the most sought-after and easy-wearing timepieces of all time.
The bezel of the 16030 is made out of steel, and not white gold like the fluted bezel references. This configuration brings a little twist to this all-time classic and shows one made the effort to find his perfect fit in the vast offering of Datejust’s combinations.
This specific piece sports an immaculate silver dial, which has gained a strong pumpkin patina adding to the vintage charm of the watch. The case and bracelet have been seriously well taken care of over time, as they are in stunning condition. This piece is a true time capsule and a watch that shows class and originality.
The case has a lot of material and sharp edges. It is in amazing overall condition.
The buckle and bracelet are in excellent condition too. The Jubilee bracelet is the original one, reference 62510H, and has no stretch.
The watch is sold alone, without box or papers. We provide a Veritas travelling pouch.
The movement is the original caliber 3035, which runs perfectly well.
