about the watch
Designed as the sportier counterpart to the Nautilus, the Patek Philippe Aquanaut has become one of the most important and sought-after timepieces from the brand, regardless of the specific reference. This medium-sized version (35.5mm) is perfectly suited to both women and men.
The essential characteristics of the early Aquanaut models are evident: a straight, flat rubber strap, a black "grenade" pattern dial with tritium hour markers, and a steel case housing the renowned caliber 330/194, the centerpiece of this historic timepiece.
This particular piece has been preserved in exceptional condition. The dial is immaculate, with hour markers that have acquired a sublime eggshell patina. The case retains its original angles and shape, making this watch a true time capsule. The watch is entirely original.
This piece is intended for all those who wish to own a piece of Patek's great history, and appreciate the beauty of an Aquanaut without sporting an overly imposing watch.
The watch is in great condition. The bracelet is small sized. Depending on the wrist size of the buyer, we can provide a new un-cut black strap.
The watch is sold alone without box nor papers.
The movement is a caliber 330/194, and has been serviced by our watchmaker.
