about the watch

The Royal Oak is one of the most important watches in the history of watchmaking. Gerald Genta's genius is expressed all the more in this 33.5 mm version, which perfectly combines steel with tantalum, further accentuating the industrial aspect of this model. Despite a size that may seem small, the watch wears extremely well and looks bigger, thanks in particular to its integrated bracelet and its thinness, measuring just 5.8mm thick.
However, the mini-jumbo has nothing to envy the jumbo, AP having done an excellent job of adapting the proportions and appearance that are the very soul of the Royal Oak.
Launched in 1991 in a limited edition of 2000 pieces, the 56175TT pays tribute to golfer Sir Nick Faldo after his second Masters Tournament victory in 1990. The case back is engraved "Championship" to celebrate this achievement.
This specific example is entirely original and has a mk2 dial, recognisable by the "Audemars Piguet" lettering. The case, bracelet and dial are in fantastic condition. The latter is truly immaculate and shows no signs of scratches or oxidation. Cherry on the cake, and even more so for a "Championship", the watch is delivered with its original box and papers, making it a true collector's item.

The case and bracelet are in amazing condition. It has a lot of material and sharp angles.

The bracelet has no stretch at all. This is even more spectacular when you consider that the watch has a few decades under its belt!

The watch is sold with its original box and papers, which is very rare on these pieces. This makes for a true Royal Oak collector's item!

The movement is the original quartz, calibre 2612. It works perfectly well.
