about the watch
The Royal Oak is one of the most important watches in the history of watchmaking. Gerald Genta's genius is expressed all the more in this 33.5 mm version, which perfectly accentuates the industrial aspect of this model. Despite a size that may seem small, the watch wears extremely well and looks bigger, thanks in particular to its integrated bracelet and its thinness, measuring just 5.8mm thick. However, the mini-jumbo is in no way inferior to the jumbo, AP having done an excellent job of adapting the proportions and appearance that make up the very soul of the Royal Oak.
Produced from the early 2000s, the mk3 version of the reference 56175 is distinctive thanks in particular to its short hour-markers and the large tapestry on the dial.
This specific example is entirely original and has a white dial that is rarer than the blue dial. The case, bracelet and dial are in fantastic condition. The dial is truly immaculate and shows no signs of scratching or oxidation. Although less well known than the blue, the white dial complements the steel case and bracelet very well, making the watch perfect for the summer months. The watch is delivered with its box and archive extract, having received a service at AP, making it a true collector's item.
The case and bracelet are in amazing condition. It has a lot of material and sharp angles.
The bracelet has no stretch at all.
The watch is sold with its original box and the extract of archives.
The movement is the original quartz, calibre 2612. It works perfectly well.
