About the watch
In 1903, Edmond Jaeger challenged Swiss watchmakers to create an ultra-thin calibre. Jacques-David LeCoultre accepted, and the result was the Calibre 145, just 1.38mm thick, which set the foundation for what would become one of the most celebrated collections of ultra-thin movements in watchmaking history.
The Master Ultra Thin collection is the direct heir to that legacy. This specific reference houses the manufacture Calibre 925/1, an automatic movement driving hours, minutes, seconds, date, and moonphase, with a 43-hour power reserve visible through the sapphire caseback. The silver sunburst dial is immaculate, with applied blade-style hour markers and blued steel hands that lend the piece an understated, almost architectural quality. The moonphase disc at 6 o'clock, with its deep blue colour and engraved stars, is the center of attention on this dial. This piece is sold with its full set, and dates back to 2015. It is in like-new condition, and is sold with a new leather strap.
