About the watch
In the rich and long history of Rolex, not many model lines can pride themselves in being as significant as the Datejust. Born in 1945, the Datejust has seen many variations of cases, bracelets, and dials combinations. The 16013, with its two-tone case (yellow gold and steel) and champagne dial, exudes a strong 1980s ‘Miami Vice’ look, bringing a touch of warmth and funk to a watchmaking classic. This configuration is less common than the steel Datejust, but is every bit as impressive. The 16013 is the first Datejust reference to introduce the ‘quickset’ feature, which allows for quick date changes. This particular piece has been kept in excellent condition. The dial is immaculate, and the patina of the tritium on the hands and hour markers has remained relatively light in colour, contrasting beautifully with the superb champagne dial. This versatile and lively dial makes this watch even more enjoyable to wear. The case and bracelet are in excellent condition. The watch is entirely original and the gold tarnishing (turning to rose) adds that vintage touch that we love. Collectors know that when oxydation is visible, it means that the watch hasn't seen any polishing in a long time, hence why it's always appreciated. Whether you are starting a collection or adding to one that is already well underway, the 16013 is a perfect reference for everyday wear. At a time when two-tone watches are coming back into fashion, the 16013 is certainly one of the pieces that will be increasingly sought after by watch enthusiasts.
Case & bracelet
The case has a lot of material and sharp edges.
The buckle and bracelet are in excellent condition too. The Jubilee bracelet is the original one, reference 62523H and has no stretch.

The watch is sold alone, without box nor papers. We provide a Veritas travel pouch.
Movement information
The movement is the original caliber 3035. It has been serviced by our watchmaker and comes with one year mechanical warranty.
In-person viewing
Our watches are available for in-person viewing in Lausanne by appointment only. While we occasionally travel to meet clients in Geneva, Zurich, or Bern, Lausanne remains the most convenient meeting point. Unfortunately, viewings outside of Switzerland are not feasible.
